Branding Project

Seven Churches is an Irish whiskey brand that was launched in late 2020. This exciting new product celebrates the very first record of whiskey in the world, which dates back to Clonmacnoise in 1405.  The logo was inspired by the distinctive calligraphy in the medieval manuscript ‘Lebor na hUidre’, which, like whiskey itself, was created by the monks of this extraordinary place over 8,000 years ago. The black and gold artwork is complemented with a bespoke illustration of Clonmacnoise by illustrator Leanne Dooley.
